Hi everyone, here is a job description we are posting soon on the sites! If interested or know anyone, please have them apply at info@strety.com. A cover letter and resume is all we need!
💻 UI-Focused Programmer (with Killer Design Taste) – Remote @ Strety
Hey! We’re Strety — the software platform helping EOS-run teams manage projects, people, and performance in a way that actually works. We’re on a mission to make work less chaotic and more connected. Our product is clean, simple, and purposeful — and we want your help to make it even better.
We’re looking for a programmer with strong UI/UX instincts. Someone who thinks like a designer, but ships like a seasoned Rails dev. You don’t need to be a Figma wizard — but if you know how to take a beautiful layout or mockup and bring it to life in code with precision and polish, you might be exactly who we need.
This is a remote role, and we’re a small, product-loving, no-BS kind of team. If you like building clean interfaces, obsess over micro-interactions, and take pride in the details, keep reading 👇
🔧 What You’ll Do:
- Turn mockups and ideas (from Figma or sketches or napkin doodles) into fully functional, polished UI in our Rails app.
- Own front-end implementation across new features — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Stimulus, Hotwire, and everything in between.
- Help shape and improve the overall user experience through thoughtful interactions and layout choices.
- Contribute to our design system and front-end architecture with elegance and reusability in mind.
- Work closely with product and backend devs to bring ideas to life quickly and beautifully.
✅ You Should Have:
- Solid Rails experience, especially with front-end implementation.
- A strong eye for UI detail, spacing, color, typography, and overall design consistency.
- Fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and bonus points if you’re into Stimulus + Hotwire.
- A portfolio of live apps, features, or components you’ve built that look great and feel intuitive.
- An appreciation for simplicity, clean interfaces, and solving real user problems.
🎯 This Role is Not For:
- Designers who only do wireframes or Figma.
- Engineers who don’t want to touch the front-end.
- People who think “just ship it” means “ignore design quality.”
🌟 Bonus Points:
- You’ve worked on a small product team or startup and worn multiple hats.
- You understand the EOS model (or are curious about it).
- You’re comfortable tweaking backend code when needed — or pairing to figure it out.
- You have opinions about UI libraries, component structure, or UX best practices (but you’re also cool to compromise).
💙 Why Strety?
- We’re building a thoughtful, high-trust, low-drama culture.
- You’ll get tons of ownership and influence — your fingerprints will be all over the product.
- We ship quickly, but we care deeply about quality and craft.
- We’re small, funded, growing, and having a blast.
🎯 Sound like your kind of gig?
