Strety's Microsoft Planner Integration: Two-Way Sync for Teams Running on EOS

Strety’s two-way integration with Microsoft Planner keeps you synced with your team in one click. Say goodbye to extra logins, tabs, and continuously checking task progress. Get more done by only creating and updating To Dos once. Created for EOS teams who thrive in Microsoft 365 and run their tactical work in Planner.

How the Strety + Microsoft Planner Integration Works

Create To Dos in Strety from your meetings, Rocks, Issues, and Headlines — they’ll automatically appear in Microsoft Planner. Your team updates to due dates and completion status will always stay in sync between the two platforms.

Frequently asked questions about Strety’s Microsoft Planner Integration

After installing the integration, create a new To Do in Strety. You’ll see the Planner icon at the bottom of the To Do, which confirms the integration is connected and ready to sync tasks between both platforms.
The Strety Microsoft Planner integration works with Microsoft 365 plans that include Planner — typically Business Basic, Business Standard, Business Premium, and Enterprise plans (E1, E3, E5). To Dos need to be shared with a group in Planner to sync.

Planner does require an O365 Admin to provide one-time consent for all members of your org to use the Strety <> Planner integration, but once authorized, you can set it up as your personal To Do integration. Follow the Consent for your Organization prompts to ensure this permission is granted. For more on the permissions required for Planner, check out this doc.

If you want to keep a linked task private, create a Planner group with only yourself as a member. Share your Strety To Dos within that group to keep them visible only to you.
The sync between Strety and Microsoft Planner runs every 30 minutes automatically. You can also trigger a manual sync from any linked To Do for immediate updates.
The two-way sync covers due dates and completion status. If you change a task’s due date or mark it complete in either Strety or Planner, the linked item updates automatically in the other platform.
Yes. Once a task is marked complete in Planner, the linked To Do will close in Strety on the next sync, thanks to the two-way connection.
Yes. Once the Planner integration is installed, you can select it as your personal default. Every new To Do assigned to you will automatically link to Microsoft Planner — saving clicks on every task.

Yes. Strety supports multiple To Do integrations including Microsoft Planner, Microsoft To Do, Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, HubSpot, Google Tasks, and several PSAs. When creating a new To Do, you choose which integration to link it to.

Some organizations restrict third-party app installations in Microsoft 365 by default. If your IT admin requires approval for new integrations, you’ll see an approval request screen during setup. Your admin can grant one-time approval to enable Strety to sync with Planner.

The integration is built for EOS teams who run their accountability and meeting cadence in Strety and use Microsoft 365 for daily collaboration. It’s especially useful for teams already running Microsoft Teams who want their L10 To Dos and Planner tasks in one synced view.

Yes. The Microsoft Planner integration is part of Strety’s integration ecosystem and available at no additional cost.
