Position Overview
We are looking for a SIP Engineer to own internal IT, security/compliance execution, and operational reliability so the company remains secure, audit-ready, and operationally resilient. In this role, you will:
- Lead SOC 2 audit coordination and ensure ongoing compliance readiness.
- Own internal IT operations, including access management, provisioning, and system administration.
- Drive improvements in security, reliability, and operational processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- SOC 2 audit coordination & compliance execution – Lead SOC 2 Type 2 readiness and audit process. Coordinate with auditors, gather evidence, track tasks, and ensure timelines stay on track.
- Security & compliance operations – Own recurring compliance work including policy maintenance, audit artifacts, and documentation. Turn compliance into a repeatable system.
- Access & identity management – Run access reviews, manage provisioning/deprovisioning, and standardize roles and permissions. Improve SSO and reduce manual access handling.
- Internal IT ownership – Handle onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, and internal IT requests. Manage device lifecycle, inventory, and security standards.
- SaaS systems administration – Maintain SaaS access hygiene (groups, licenses, stale users). Improve automation across provisioning and tighten admin/system controls.
- Security operations & risk management – Coordinate pen tests and vulnerability scans. Support incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and remediation tracking.
- Reliability & operational support – Support observability, alerting, and logging improvements. Partner with engineering during incidents and contribute to environment hardening.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT, security, and/or systems engineering roles.
- Experience supporting SOC 2 (or similar frameworks) and working through audits.
- Familiarity with identity providers (e.g., Okta, Azure AD/Entra) and access management practices.
- Experience managing SaaS environments and internal IT operations.
- Understanding of security fundamentals, vulnerability management, and incident response.
